- ABOUT THE ITEM -
Minot Air Force Base (KMIB) is a United States Air Force installation in Ward County, North Dakota. It's the home of the 5th Bomb Wing (5 BW) and the 91st Missile Wing (91MW) both assigned to the Global Strike Command (AFGSC). The base was originally in 1957 as a Air Defense Command base and later became a major Strategic Air Command (SAC) base during the cold war. The base is named after the nearby city of Minot, North Dakota.
