Shanghai International Circuit is a motor racing circuit located in Shanghai, China. The track is home to the annual Formula One Chinese Grand Prix which has been hosted at the track since 2004. Designed by architect Hermann Tike, the track is lavish in design costing and exorbitant sum of $450 million, meant to showcase the city to the world. The track can seat up to 200,000 spectators and features a running length of 5.45 km, 3.38 miles with 16 turns.
